While this machine cannot perform CPR, it features Real CPR Help®, a CPR feedback tool that is able to actually see what you are doing and provide feedback to help you do it well. This revolutionary technology monitors the depth and rate of compressions and will guide you in your efforts. Audio and visual prompts help you perform life-saving actions with confidence and clarity unmatched by any other AED! Feedback cues include “push harder,” and “good compressions,” along with a metronome to help you keep a good rate.

The Zoll AED Plus® is designed so that anyone from a nervous lay responder to an advanced medical professional can quickly, and easily, apply the AED pads and deliver an effective shock, if needed. This AED is fully automatic, meaning it will deliver the shock that is needed without the push of a button. Instead, the AED uses voice prompts including “Don’t touch the patient!” and then a countdown will begin before the shock is delivered. If the AED does not detect a shockable rhythm, its prompts will guide the user through the entire Chain of Survival to promote the best outcome.

The Zoll AED Plus® is built for durability and carries an IP rating (dust and water protection) of 155. The pre-connected, one-piece CPR-D-Padz® electrode pad allows for quick and easy application and provides guidance for proper chest compression hand placement. Additionally, the pads require a change only every 5 years if not used, which is the longest shelf life in the industry! This AED is powered by 10 lithium camera batteries that also carry a shelf life of five years, and are available at any retail store!
